One Marshmallow or Two?

Will you eat your marshmallow now or wait for two? In Mark 8:27-9:1, Jesus taught the disciples that following him means "losing" in this life just like he lost his life for us. But it doesn't end there-- losing now means winning later; and people who follow Jesus learn to become losing-winning people: losing popularity, losing out on what the world might consider "fun", losing money, grades, respect, or anything else to follow him will not be a waste. Following Jesus may involve a sacrifice, but he's definitely worth more than two marshmallows back!
