Over the next several weeks, TWR (and Teen Fellowship) will be a part of this campaign. Our lessons will continue to be from the word of God. We have just finished a series in Philemon about Christian reconciliation, and now we will be teaching messages that connect with what “stewardship” is all about. In small group time, we will also be encouraging the youth to think about creative ways they can contribute to Expansion as a group and individually with some kind of project. We want to give our youngsters a chance to be a meaningful part of this vision, too, by their giving. At the end of this campaign, TWR will share the results of our project on a Sunday at our regular worship service.
Whatever our thoughts, fears, or hopes are about BCEC’s expansion project, it is undoubtedly now a big part of our local church family life, and it is exciting to me that our youths will be able to be included in the dialogue, vision, and sharing of our family.

Capital Stewardship Campaign in TWR!
If you come to BCEC regularly, you know that our church is in the middle of a stewardship-capital campaign. In case you didn’t know, this is a campaign to encourage us to be better stewards of the resources God has individually entrusted us with (time, treasure, talents, etc.). Also, it is a campaign to help us consider how God might be leading us to add those resources to the church expansion work that BCEC is doing. Our church is considering a move toward a more intentional plan for numerical growth and outreach, which includes the purchase of a new building—that is why it is a stewardship capital campaign.
