Pastor Enoch will be teaching on Heaven for 4 sessions in July and August. Steve, who usually teaches in TWR, is directing Project Destiny this summer and will be taking a break from preaching on Friday nights.
Last Friday, through Colossians 3, P. Enoch asked if our view of Heaven was good enough to motivate us to follow Jesus. Paul writes that thinking of heaven, or "things above," is enough to keep him from temptation and also leads him to be compassionate towards others (v5, 12-14).
Are we motivated to live for God based on what we think Heaven will be like?
